Shoulder Pain

The shoulder joint is able to move in a greater range of motion than any joint in the body, almost a complete 360 degree circle.  Because of this flexibility it allows us to throw a baseball, turn the steering wheel on our car, lift weights, toss our children into the air….but because of this tremendous flexibility, it also makes the shoulder one of the most susceptible joints in the body to injury.

Various injuries can occur to the shoulder involving the muscles, such as the rotator cuff, ligaments, impingement to the nerves or even the joint itself leading to a condition known as frozen shoulder.  Of course, most of us have heard of the baseball pitcher who needs to have rotator cuff surgery, but different degrees of shoulder injuries happen to just about anyone from all walks of life.  Whether you are an athlete, a stay @ home mom or anyone in between, a shoulder injury can happen to anyone & affect your ability to conduct your normal daily activities.

Utilizing the most modern forms of therapy, soft tissue release & rehabilitative exercises, @ All-Health Chiropractic, Dr. Olenik will work with you through all stages of the injury from pain relief, to rehabilitation, to strengthening & stabilization.
